OP-16 Weekly Trading Snapshot: Raw vs PSA 10 Prices 3x Apart

Dark market-ticker cover, 5 real One Piece cards fanned out (Luffy L-P centred), reading "OP-16 Weekly Trading Snapshot".

The most interesting thing in OP-16 this week isn’t which card traded the most — it’s that the exact same -P parallel print can be more than 3x apart between raw and PSA 10. Monkey D. Luffy’s L-P parallel trades for a few thousand yen raw, but jumps to the tens of thousands once graded PSA 10. These 5 cards are all real trades from September 7-13, 2026: three -P parallel prints from the OP-16 booster (two with PSA 10 sales this week), a standard SEC pull, and a July 2026 Flagship Battle winner’s commemorative promo. Ranked by this week’s raw trade count, high to low — and the busiest card by volume turns out to be the cheapest of the five. Popular and expensive aren’t the same thing. HK buyers ordering from Japan see the HK$ price directly on Collect2Day, no conversion needed. This is a snapshot of trades that already happened — not a grading recommendation or a forward call.

TL;DR

  • The same OP16-022 (Monkey D. Luffy L-P) parallel print sells for a ¥7,500 raw median versus a ¥26,666 PSA 10 median in the same week — more than 3x apart.
  • This week’s busiest card by trade count isn’t the priciest: OP16-119 (SEC) had 21 raw trades, more than the three OP-16 -P parallels put together, at a ¥2,300 median.
  • The highest-priced card, and the one that fell the most, is OP16-032 — a July 2026 Flagship Battle winner’s promo at a ¥179,000 median, down 17.1% this week, and not part of the OP-16 booster at all.

Why isn’t the busiest card the priciest one?

The thing worth watching here is that trade volume and price are two separate things. OP16-119 (Marshall D. Teach, SEC) had 21 raw trades this week, the most of any card in this post — more than the three -P parallels (OP16-022, OP16-079, OP16-098) combined — yet its median is only ¥2,300, one of the cheapest on this list. OP16-032 (Boa Hancock, SR Flagship Battle winner’s promo) runs the other way: a ¥179,000 median, the single highest of the five, still traded 14 times this week, but down 17.1% week-on-week — the largest weekly decline in this post. Rarity, trade volume and price are independent of each other; reading one doesn’t tell you the other two.

Every figure here comes from actual Japanese-market sale records, over the window 2026-09-07 to 2026-09-13 (HKT). Ranking is by this week’s raw (ungraded) trade count, with a minimum of 5 trades and 3 distinct sellers to qualify, tiebreak by the higher median. A single outlier sale (more than 3x the second-highest) is excluded. A card with fewer than 5 PSA 10 trades this week shows no PSA 10 row; fewer than 10 shows only the median, with no week-on-week change. “Raw” covers Raw/Ungraded grades, with B4U/BSO self-trades excluded.

Why Up / Down / Busy?

Marshall D. Teach (SEC, OP16-119) had 21 raw (ungraded) trades this week — more than this post’s three -P parallel prints put together. The median sits at ¥2,300, with this week’s weighted average at ¥2,414, up 3.9%. SEC is one of the highest rarity letters in this set, yet the price has held steady in the low thousands of yen while trading busier than anything else on this list. There’s no PSA 10 data for this card this week, so this is the raw-grade figure only. Popular and expensive aren’t the same thing: if you want a rarity-heavy card without a steep buy-in, this is the one most people actually traded this week.

Why Up / Down / Busy?

Boa Hancock (SR, Flagship Battle winner’s promo, OP16-032) wasn’t pulled from a booster pack at all — it’s a July 2026 Flagship Battle winner’s commemorative promo, and it isn’t part of the OP-16 set. Its ¥179,000 median is the single highest of any card in this post; this week’s weighted average came in at ¥177,110, down 17.1% — the largest weekly decline in this post. Even at this price, it still traded 14 times this week, more than OP16-022’s 5 raw trades or OP16-079’s 8. There’s no PSA 10 data for this card this week. Everything here is an actual trade that happened — this isn’t a grading recommendation or a forward call.

Why Up / Down / Busy?

Yamato (Leader, L-P parallel, OP16-079) is another -P parallel from the OP-16 booster, and both grades moved up together this week: raw median ¥4,800, with this week’s weighted average at ¥4,834 on 8 trades, up 3%; PSA 10 median ¥17,499 on 18 trades, up 1.8%. The PSA 10 weighted average, ¥19,344, sits above its own ¥17,499 median, meaning some of this week’s PSA 10 trades cleared above the midpoint. Raw and PSA 10 are more than 3x apart here too, and the ¥4,800 raw entry point is cheaper than OP16-022’s ¥7,500 — an easier way in if you’re chasing a set of these -P parallels.

Why Up / Down / Busy?

Monkey D. Luffy (Leader, L-P parallel, OP16-022) is this post’s headline example: the raw (ungraded) median is ¥7,500, with this week’s weighted average at ¥7,400 on 5 trades; the PSA 10 median is ¥26,666, with a weighted average of ¥26,000 on 67 trades — more than 3x apart on the exact same print, in the same week. Trading activity sits heavily on the graded side: 5 raw trades this week against 67 PSA 10 trades. Both grades moved the same direction too — raw -14%, PSA 10 -16% — so this isn’t one grade weakening while the other holds. If you want this Leader parallel on a budget of a few thousand yen, raw is the lowest-cost way in.

Why Up / Down / Busy?

Yamato (SR parallel, SR-P, OP16-098) is the SR version of the same character as OP16-079’s Leader parallel, and the two form a clear tier comparison: raw median ¥2,600, this week’s weighted average ¥2,480, on 5 trades — up 17%, the largest weekly raw gain of the three -P parallels in this post. The weighted average sits below the median though, and on only 5 trades, so this gain should be read as small-sample noise rather than a firm trend. There’s no PSA 10 data for this card this week, so this is the raw-grade figure only. Same character, same set: this SR-P print is priced in the low thousands of yen, cheaper than the L-P’s ¥4,800 raw price — the lowest entry point among the -P parallels in this post.

At a glance: what qualifies

What time window is this?
Actual Japanese-market sale records from September 7 to September 13, 2026 (HKT).
How is the ranking calculated?
By this week’s raw (ungraded) trade count, high to low, with a minimum of 5 trades and 3 distinct sellers to qualify. Ties break toward the higher median.
Why do some cards show no PSA 10 data?
A card with fewer than 5 PSA 10 trades this week shows no PSA 10 row — that doesn’t mean no graded copies exist, just too few sales this week to report.
Does “raw” include ungraded cards?
Yes — the raw price covers Raw/Ungraded grades, with a single outlier sale (more than 3x the second-highest) excluded and B4U/BSO self-trades excluded.

FAQ

Why is Monkey D. Luffy’s L-P more than 3x apart between raw and PSA 10?

Because raw and PSA 10 are two different markets. OP16-022’s raw median is ¥7,500 on just 5 trades this week; its PSA 10 median is ¥26,666 on 67 trades. Trading activity sits heavily on the graded side, and the two grades have different supply and different buyers — the 3x+ gap is the outcome of two separate markets, not one product “appreciating.”

Why does OP16-119 (SEC) trade so much if it’s this cheap?

A rarity letter reflects the pull rate, not actual supply or popularity. OP16-119 had 21 raw trades this week, the most in this post, yet its median is only ¥2,300 — popular and expensive are two different things, and the rarity letter alone doesn’t tell you either.

Is OP16-032 part of the OP-16 (Kessen no Toki) booster set?

No. It’s a July 2026 Flagship Battle winner’s commemorative promo, not a booster pull, which is why its price sits tens of times higher than the other 4 cards on this list.
