September is shaping up to be a free-for-all for Japanese TCGs. The biggest name on the list is Pokémon’s 30th anniversary — three “30th CELEBRATION” products land together on 16 September. Below is every one of this month’s 18 Japanese TCG releases across 10 brands, each with its on-sale date and a link to it on Collect2Day — mark your calendar and get your wallet ready.
The short version
- 18 Japanese-market products go on sale this month, across 8 dates and 10 brands.
- Pokémon’s 30th-anniversary trio — the MEGA expansion pack, the Premium Deck Set and the FUTURISTIC BOX — all land together on Wednesday 16 September, the only date this month with three products of one series landing at once.
- 26 September is the month’s busiest day: 6 products land together, including four Gundam starter decks.
Why the on-sale date is worth tracking
Japanese-market TCG releases follow Japan’s own schedule, which can run weeks or months apart from the same franchise’s release elsewhere — note the date first.

Frequently asked questions
Where does each “Product link” go?
To that product’s search results on Collect2Day, so you can see current listings and prices directly. Every search term was tested live on Collect2Day on 7 September 2026 to confirm it returns relevant results; a few product codes (like “EX15BT”) turned out to collide with unrelated items or other games, so a brand or series name was used instead.
Why isn’t there a price listed for any of these?
This post is a schedule, not a price guide — no MSRP was supplied for any product. Check the live listing on Collect.today for current price and availability.
What is Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG, and how is it different from the English TCG?
OCG (Official Card Game) is Konami’s official release for the Japanese market, with its own card text and its own release schedule, run as a separate product line from the English-language “Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG”.
Why are three Pokémon products all landing on 16 September?
All three belong to the “30th CELEBRATION” line and are officially scheduled together: the MEGA expansion pack, the Espeon/Umbreon Premium Deck Set, and the FUTURISTIC BOX.
Has this schedule been checked?
Yes. Every row was checked against its publisher’s own page on 7 September 2026. One product from the original list, the ONE PIECE magazine special issue (originally 4 September), was found to have been postponed to 11 December and was removed from this post; the other 18 on-sale dates and product names matched their official pages.

Go to Collect2DayThe dates, brands and product names above were supplied by the marketing team and verified against each publisher’s own pages on 7 September 2026; the ONE PIECE magazine special-issue product was removed after that check found it had been postponed to 11 December, and the other 18 products matched their official pages. Each Collect2Day search term below was tested live on the same day to confirm it returns relevant results. No MSRP is listed. Where a schedule changes, the publisher’s own announcement is what counts.
