What is the Extra Grand Battle in October?
Extra Grand Battle is a competitive (本格バトル) event Bandai runs at authorised stores in Japan. Games use the Extra regulation, and the format is Swiss or single elimination depending on the day.
Each store seats 32 players, with some running 64. Entry is by advance application in the BANDAI TCG+ app, which needs a registered face photo; places are drawn by lottery, and players must register their deck before check-in. Under-18s need a parent’s or guardian’s consent to apply.

Note: card number ST30-012 is also in the Starter Deck EX (Luffy & Ace), and that regular copy is listed far lower. A plain “ST30-012” search mixes the two, so the link below searches “ルフィ エクストラグランドバトル” — check the frame in the listing photo before you buy.
