Digimon EX-13 Box Price: Royal Knights at a Premium, EX-12 Cools

The Digimon EX-13 (CHIVALROUS XIII) and EX-12 booster boxes on a gold cover, headline at left.

Digimon EX-13 (CHIVALROUS XIII) released in Japan on Oct 3, 2026, themed on the Royal Knights. A Japanese player on X noticed that its box sells at a clear premium while the previous set, EX-12, is heavily discounted in shops. Here is how the two boxes compare on the Japanese resale market, plus Collect2Day prices for the five priciest EX-13 singles, with search links.

TL;DR

  • On October 9 the lowest one-box listing for Digimon EX-13 on the Japanese resale market was ¥8,000, but no box has sold there yet.
  • The previous set, EX-12, has only five multi-box trades, all from its first month; nothing has sold since August 4, and its lowest one-box listing is now ¥6,000.
  • The priciest EX-13 singles on Collect2Day are the ★★ gold parallels, led by Omnimon: Merciful Mode ★★SEC at up to ¥255,000.

What is Digimon EX-13?

Digimon EX-13 CHIVALROUS XIII (シヴァルラス サーティーン) is the 13th Extra Booster for the Digimon Card Game, themed on the Royal Knights. All 13 Royal Knights get new support cards and gold special parallels. A pack holds 6 cards, a box holds 24 packs, and the set has 81 cards.

The secret rares are Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode (インペリアルドラモン:パラディンモード) and Omnimon: Merciful Mode (オメガモン:マーシフルモード). Buying a box also gets you a box bonus pack with parallel cards.

A Japanese Digimon card player’s X post on October 7 said EX-12 is heavily discounted in shops while EX-13 carries a big premium. They asked whether EX-13 will only rise if it sells out in shops, or ease a little once Premium Bandai pre-orders arrive. The official site shows EX-13 is also taking pre-orders on Premium Bandai.
