Clock Mirage 4-55S Metal Coat: Black Fate Rewinder Ver. is a limited Beyblade X collab between TAKARA TOMY and Futa Kimura’s manga Fate Rewinder (運命の巻戻士). It is not sold in toy shops: the only way to buy it was a paid mail-in offer in the September 2026 issue of CoroCoro Comic (月刊コロコロコミック), one per person. Here are its specs, how it differs from the regular release, whether it is worth getting, and how to get one from outside Japan.

What is Fate Rewinder?

Fate Rewinder (運命の巻戻士) is Futa Kimura’s manga serialised in CoroCoro Comic. The hero, Chrono, is a member of the Rewinders, a special unit of the time police. A time machine in his right eye, the Retry Eye, lets him go back in time to save people fated to die.

It topped the magazine’s reader poll for 12 months running, and a TV anime by Bones Film is set to air in Japan from April 2027. A collab Beyblade released before the anime is likely to draw collectors from both the Beyblade and the manga side.

How to get Clock Mirage 4-55S

The official notice stresses that this is neither a free magazine gift nor a lottery prize. It is a paid mail-in offer:

  1. Buy the print magazine. The September 2026 issue of CoroCoro Comic, out around Wednesday 12 August 2026.
  2. Apply with the postcard. Use the dedicated postcard bound into the issue: one per postcard, one per person.
  3. Pay the fee. The fee covers the item, consumption tax, Japanese domestic shipping and handling.

The application deadline and shipping date are printed only in the magazine’s application notes.

Is Clock Mirage 4-55S Fate Rewinder Ver. worth getting?

If you collect Beyblade X or read Fate Rewinder, this collab is worth considering, for three reasons:

  1. Hard to get. It was sold only through one print issue of CoroCoro Comic, never in toy shops, one per person.
  2. A limited combination. The 4-55 Ratchet and S Bit are unique to this collab, along with the black Metal Coat and the series emblem, so it is clearly different from the regular 9-65B.
  3. A series on the rise. The manga topped CoroCoro’s reader poll for 12 months running and its TV anime is set for April 2027, so both Beyblade fans and manga readers may want one.

Outside Japan, the resale market is the only route. Compare several listings, and check whether it is new and unopened with its packaging intact.
